Question about AT&T 8320 Curve

I was wondering, if I get that Blackberry next summer, before my contract goes up, if I would HAVE to get a data plan, if I do not start a new contract and get a no commitment pricing one off of Amazon.com, would they charge/require me to have one if I just put my SIM card in? Roll Eyes

Highly unlikely you can get away with no data plan through the carrier. If you can, more power to you, but I think you really won't get that lucky.

What if I pretend I didn't know I have to have data. Get the phone. Explain to them I didn't know. Then ask them politely to block it. Wink
